World Sake Day is an annual event celebrated on October 1. It serves as a tribute to sake, the revered Japanese alcoholic beverage made from fermented rice. Traditionally, October 1 marks the official start of sake production in Japan, making this date significant in the sake brewing calendar.

Initially regarded as a national event in Japan, World Sake Day has gained international recognition, inviting enthusiasts worldwide to celebrate and appreciate this storied drink.

The Dempsey Project is located on Dempsey Hill. The nearest MRT is TE12 Napier Station (Thomson-East Coast Line). Exit via exit 2 and take a 15min stroll up to Dempsey Hill.

Free parking is available on Dempsey Hill.

Yes it is possible, but we will only be able to deliver the sake in the week after the event, at an additional cost of $30. You are welcome to arrange your own delivery with other providers.
